IMPORTANT K-12 ONLINE SCHOOL INFORMATION: START OF YEAR
WELCOME TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!
We are excited to embark on a new school year and want to make sure you are prepared and get the support you need. During your first week of school, you will be attending orientations during which time you will get acquainted with the online school, 系统, get to know your student support team, and learn about your schedule and daily routine.
If you are starting school on August 19th, your orientation will take place the 19th and 20th. If you are starting after school start date, your orientations are on the first Monday and Tuesday of your start week.
Information about accessing orientation sessions will be forthcoming. Your grade level 18luck下载 Onboarding Coach 将发送 login credentials for both your Chromebook 电脑 和 online school to all new students and parents. You will need to reset your initial passwords upon log-in. Be sure to write this down. If you do not see an email from your onboarding coach,请 be sure to check your spam and/or ensure we have your updated contact information on file. Check both your personal email 和 student’s school email.
The 18luck下载 Onboarding Coach will also send via email an invitation to each of your live orientations. It is important that you look for this email inviting you to register for a live orientation session. If you did not receive an email,请 be sure to check your spam folder and/or ensure we have your updated contact information on file.
This year, we are excited to announce Learning Coach University. Learning Coach University is a live training session that will be offered to all guardians, learning coaches, and parents. The week before your student begins, an email will be sent with dates and times for this brand-new event! Just another way we want to ensure your family has a successful school year!
Orientation will consist of synchronous live sessions and asynchronous course modules that will be completed to help your student get to know the 18luck下载 school community and navigate the online schooling experience successfully. Information on class level course access will also be provided during orientation.
Chromebook 电脑s are shipped to all new students who request one (you noted your request during the enrollment process). Most new students should have already received these, 然而, it is possible that in some situations 电脑s will arrive over the weekend so please be on the lookout for this important delivery.
